Anthony Munday, the author of Robin Hood writes in his book ‘A Breif Chronicle…From the creation of the world to this instant ” that Britan was founded by the Brut of Albania. He is referencing to But-rinti which was believed to have been visited by Anea, Priam’s nephew soon after the fall of Troy as he considered Butrinti home, much like Pyrrhus and Alexander when in times of trouble. The book was written in 1611.
